SHORT DESCRIPTION:  RIOO workshops for Load Resources and SODGs

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Resource Entities representing Load Resources and/or SODGs

DAYS AFFECTED:  January 18 and 19, 2023

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will be hosting two Webex-only workshops to demonstrate how to use the Resource Integration & Ongoing Operations (RIOO) application to create and update registration information for Load Resources (LRs) and Settlement Only Distribution Generators (SODGs). Resource Entities (REs) who represent LRs and/or SODGs are highly encouraged to attend. Further information on these resource types, including RIOO user guides, can be found on the ERCOT webpages for Load Resources and Distributed Generation.  

ACTION REQUIRED:  Participants are encouraged to follow along by accessing the RIOO system during the workshop. RIOO users can set up an account prior to the workshops and will need to have an ERCOT digital certificate with the RIOORS_M_Operator role assigned. Detailed instructions for setting up a RIOO user account can be found under RIOO Documentation on the Resource Integration webpage.

Starting January 23, 2023, REs will need to use RIOO to submit registration information for LRs and SODGs as ERCOT will no longer accept these submittals using the Resource Asset Registration Forms (RARFs).
