SHORT DESCRIPTION: Notice of Change of Access to Postings in the Market Information System Secure Area

INTENDED AUDIENCE: User Security Administrators (USAs) and Digital Certificate Holders

DAYS AFFECTED: Beginning July 28, 2023

LONG DESCRIPTION: Postings identified on the attached list have been classified as ERCOT Critical Energy Infrastructure Information (ECEII) pursuant to Nodal Protocol 2.1. Beginning July 28 2023, a Digital Certificate with the appropriate ECEII role will be required to access the postings following the scheduled R4 2023 system changes.

Review of postings in the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area is ongoing and additional postings may be marked ECEII in the future, possibly necessitating future notices of change of access.

ACTION REQUIRED: For all Market Participants, to continue MIS access to ECEII , USAs should assign the ICE_M_VIEW_ECEII role to their Digital Certificates prior to July 28, 2023.

Market Participant Identity Manager (MPIM) role installation details can be found in the attached document. Also attached to this Market Notice is a list of MIS Secure Area postings that have been classified as ECEII and will be identified as ECEII on the ERCOT Market Information List (EMIL).
