LONG DESCRIPTION: On July 19, 2023, starting at 1pm, ERCOT will host a workshop to discuss NPRR1186 and associated potential improvements prior to Real Time Cooptimization with single model (RTC+B). The meeting will be held in person and via WebEx (Link to Meeting Page).

On the meeting page, ERCOT has posted a spreadsheet with illustrative examples to demonstrate how the proposed NPRR1186 changes will impact High Ancillary Service Limit (HASL) for an Energy Storage Resource used in Security Constrained Economic Dispatch. ERCOT has a draft of ERCOT and QSE Operations Practices During The Operating Hour Business Practice Manual with the NPRR1186 related changes.

The meeting page will be updated with any additional relevant meeting materials as the meeting date approaches.
