SHORT DESCRIPTION: Intermittent Renewable Resources (IRRs) not properly mapped to their IRR Groups in the Settlement System

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: August 1, 2018 through July 25, 2023

LONG DESCRIPTION: On July 21, 2023, ERCOT identified a mapping issue resulting in seven IRR Groups that did not include one or more IRRs. The IRRs not included in the IRR Groups were settled individually.

The earliest date with an individual IRR that was inappropriately excluded from its IRR Group is August 1, 2018. ERCOT corrected the mapping in the Settlement System on July 25, 2023. Settlements after the True-Up for Operating Day January 28, 2023 will reflect the corrected mapping.

This issue impacts the Base Point Deviation Settlement for the affected QSEs. An analysis was conducted on the impacted Operating Days that were past True-Up Settlement and it was determined that none of the impacted Operating Days met the resettlement threshold specified in paragraph (2) of Section 9.5.6, RTM Resettlement Statement.
