SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation of maximum Shadow Price for an irresolvable constraint in SCED

DAY AFFECTED: September 8, 2023
LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has identified a transmission constraint that has met the criteria of being considered irresolvable on September 7, 2023, per the criteria defined in Section 3.6.1 of the Other Binding Document (OBD), Methodology for Setting Maximum Shadow Prices for Network and Power Balance Constraints. In performing the analysis required by the OBD, ERCOT has determined that the maximum Shadow Price should remain at its current value of $3,500/MWh. This maximum Shadow Price will remain in effect until otherwise notified through a Market Notice. The contingency/constraint pair and maximum Shadow Price are as follows:
