SHORT DESCRIPTION: October 14th, 2023 Annular Solar Eclipse

LONG DESCRIPTION: On Saturday, October 14, 2023, an annular solar eclipse will pass across the ERCOT region. The eclipse will impact the output of PhotoVoltaic Generation Resources (PVGRs) in ERCOT between 10:15AM and 1:40PM CDT. Starting on Saturday, October 7th, 2023, ERCOT PVGR forecasts for October 14th will include the impact of the eclipse. All Market Participants are requested to monitor the operating conditions for this day and make adjustments to Current Operating Plans as needed.
