SHORT DESCRIPTION: Issue identified with the updated System Administration Fee

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: Operating Days (OD) January 1 - 4, 2024

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT incorrectly updated the ERCOT System Administration Fee rate to $0.71 per MWh instead of the PUC- approved rate of $0.63 per MWh. This incorrect rate applied on Operating Days January 1, 2024 through January 4, 2024. ERCOT has corrected this error starting Operating Day January 5, 2024. ERCOT investigated and determined that the impact to Operating Days January 1, 2024 through January 4, 2024 meets the resettlement threshold as specified in paragraph (2) of Protocol Section 9.5.6, RTM Resettlement Statement. ERCOT will post the RTM Resettlement Statements by January 12, 2024.
