ERCOT is planning to perform site failover (From Bastrop DC to Taylor DC) for RTC+B Market Trial system on 11/07 between 10:30 and 11:30 AM.
During this time period, Market submissions into Market Trail System for RTC+B will have impact for 20 minutes (system outage). After completion of site failover on 11/07, all MPs need to connect to Ercot Taylor Market Trial system (if anybody is using ip address to connect to RTC+B Market Trial system).

Good afternoon TAC and RTCBTF,
I wanted to provide an update on the second (and final) production RTC+B Closed-Loop Load Frequency Control test that was conducted yesterday, October 30, 2025.

Based on ERCOT's initial analysis, it appears this was another successful test from the following observations:

* The frequency was controlled for two hours from the ERCOT control room on RTC+B systems
* The real-time market (RTC+B SCED) successfully awarded and dispatched energy and ancillary services in real-time
* Market participants were able to submit accurate telemetry/submissions and follow the RTC+B dispatch for 2 hours

ERCOT is planning to perform a site failover for the RTC+B Market Trial system on Friday 09/05 between 10:30am-11:30am from the Bastrop Data Center to Taylor.

During this time period, market submissions into the RTC+B Market Trial System will be impacted for approximately 20 minutes (as a system outage).

After completion of the site failover, any Market Participants that connect using an IP address will need to update the address to connect to ERCOT Taylor Market Trial system.

My understanding is that the takeaway was that staff will update the handbooks to reflect the expectations that FRRS awards be treated as regulation in RTC trials. Could you please confirm this?

During the NPRR1268 process, we were told to make the slight change to the
AORDC parameters to accurately reflect AS Opportunity Cost as a separate
NPRR to not slow down the approval of NPRR1268. While the issue is still

The attached presentation for 2/19/25 RTCBTF describes how HEN's proposed
use of unaltered ORDC to create the ASDCs is consistent with stakeholder
intent for the AORDC design. Stakeholders wanted the AORDC design to result
in the same (or very similar) pricing (price Adders in current design and
ASDC values under RTC) as outcomes over a historical period.

Good afternoon RTCBTF,
We will have our first meeting of 2024 next Friday at 9:30am (onsite and WebEx meeting).

This will be a different type of meeting which will be important but also relatively short. ERCOT staff has documented the inventory of implementation issues (currently 17 issues) with estimated dates for review in 2024 and 2025. We plan to briefly review the description of each issue and the anticipated timing. ERCOT will be interested in feedback on the timing of the issues, and whether other items should be added to the list.

This is an update that the RTCBTF has completed its review of the RTC - State of Charge market design changes as reflected in ERCOT Comments that were filed on Friday evening for NPRR1204, Considerations of State of Charge with Real-Time Co-Optimization Implementation<https://www.ercot.com/mktrules/issues/NPRR1204>. Tomorrow afternoon at 2pm is our next meeting and we will again focus on comments and discussion of NPRR1204- Considerations of State of Charge with RTC Implementation.<https://www.ercot.com/mktrules/issues/NPRR1204#keydocs>

ERCOT offers the attached "ERCOT Response" redlines to be used for discussion tomorrow on top of Luminant comments, which were on top of Hunt comments.

As discussed at TAC yesterday, the attached protocol document is a tool to capture draft protocol revisions for State of Charge concepts for RTC+B that align with the whitepaper previously posted here<https://www.ercot.com/calendar/09082023-RTCBTF-Meeting>, as well as reconcile these changes with portions of NPRR1186. This document can be edited to submit redlines for discussion at the next RTCBTF on October 5, 2023.

Thank you again for the support of Friday's inaugural RTCBTF meeting, which included an initial review of the attached RTC+B State of Charge (SOC) Whitepaper. As discussed ERCOT is looking for feedback on RTC-SOC concepts from the Market Participants with the goal being Board approval of the forthcoming RTC-SOC NPRR supporting these concepts by the end of the year.
