SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced Retail Transaction processing issues on October 25, 2010 from 18:18 to 19:03.
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs
DAY AFFECTED:  October 25, 2010 from 18:18 to 19:03
DESCRIPTION:  On October 25, 2010 from 18:18 to 19:03, ERCOT experienced an outage of the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) application which impacted retail transaction processing.
ERCOT's Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) application is operational.
Processing of impacted transactions resumed immediately following the outage, and ERCOT has verified that all transactions have been processed successfully.  No action by Market Participants is necessary.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This outage was due to an application failure.
