NOTICE TYPE:  M-A092110-03 - UPDATED FINAL NOTICE - Outage - API
SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT's API was unavailable from September 19, 2010 20:00 - September 20, 2010 16:08. Texas Market Link was functioning normally during this time.

 INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:  September 19, 2010 20:00 - September 20, 2010 16:08
LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT's API was unavailable from September 19, 2010 20:00 - September 20, 2010 16:08. Texas Market Link was functioning normally during this time.
The root cause was determined to be an API component that did not start up properly after the weekend maintenance outage.
ERCOT is working to ensure the MID API services are being monitored correctly and proper notifications go out to ensure that the issue can be indentified in a timely manner.
