NOTICE TYPE:  M-B101111-02 UPDATE: Maintenance Outage – Retail/Wholesale
SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Scheduled Maintenance Outage (RMS and COPS Granted Exception for a 36 Hour Outage)

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED: 12:00 Saturday, October 29, 2011 through 00:00 Monday, October 31, 2011.
LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has scheduled a maintenance outage from 12:00 Saturday, October 29, 2011 through 00:00 Monday, October 31, 2011.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  During the outage the following functions will be affected:
•       Market Participants utilizing NAESB to send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT will NOT be able to send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT during the outage. This includes all retail transactions.
•       867 transactions will NOT be forwarded during the outage.
•       997 Functional Acknowledgements will NOT be sent during the outage.
•       Components of the TML and Commercial API will NOT be available including:
o       Find ESI ID
o       Find Transaction
o       Submit Transactions
o       USA Functionalities
o       Report Explorer, including
•       Reports
•       Extracts
•       Invoices
•       Settlement Statements
o       Extract Scheduler
o       Web Services Data Requests
•       ERCOT Internet Services will NOT be available, including but not limited to:
o       ERCOT.com – www.ercot.com<http://www.ercot.com>
o       MarkeTrak - https://marketrak.ercot.com:8443/tmtrack.dll
o       TCR - https://tcr.ercot.com<https://tcr.ercot.com/>
o       Texas Renewables – www.texasrenewables.com<http://www.texasrenewables.com/>
•       Components of the MIS will NOT be available including:
o       Retail Applications

•       Components of the MIS will intermittently NOT be available including:
o       Downloading of extracts and reports
o       Current Day Reports without retry functionality may not be rerun for the missed postings during the outage time.
o       MIS Secure area dashboards will be intermittently unavailable
o       www.ercot.com<http://www.ercot.com> pricing and load data displays will be intermittently unavailable
o       USA Functionalities
o       Extract Subscriber
o       Market Data Transparency
o       During this outage, please use the following URLs to directly access the Market Manager and Outage Scheduler:
