SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Changes to 867_03 Activity Reports
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  LSEs, TDSPs, MREs
DAY AFFECTED:  December 1, 2011
LONG DESCRIPTION:  In support of the Texas Market Link (TML) decommissioning efforts, ERCOT is making several changes to the 867_03 Activity Reports as detailed below.
Report Locations:
Beginning December 1, 2011, the 867_03 Activity Reports will post to the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) Markets Tab/Retail Landing Page in the Retail Reports and Extracts (certified) portlet as well as on the Reports tab in the Report and Extracts Index List.
To access the reports on the MIS, Market Participants must have a valid digital certificate with the 'Entity Type_Extracts' role, where the entity type is either REP or TDSP based on the type of Market Participant for which the entity is registered.

*       Please refer to the MIS and Retail 101 Training information for more details about the MIS located at http://www.ercot.com/services/training/.
*       General report information can be found on the Services/Market Data Transparency page of the ERCOT Website as well as in the ERCOT Market Information List (EMIL).
Reports:
The 867_03 Activity Reports will continue to post as two separate postings.
*       867_03 IDR Activity Report
*       867_03 NIDR Activity Report
 The format of the content within the report is not changing.
File Type:
The reports currently post in both .CSV and .ZIP format. Beginning with the posting to MIS, these reports will only be posted in the .ZIP format. The zip files will continue to contain a .CSV file.
 File Naming Convention:
The reports will post to the MIS with the following file naming conventions.
*       Rpt.00013067.16digitDUNS.DateYYYYMMDD.TimeHhMiSs.867_03IDRActivityReport.zip
*       Rpt.00013068.16digitDUNS.DateYYYYMMDD.TimeHhMiSs.867_03NIDRActivityReport.zip
Report Availability:
The 867_03 Activity Reports are generated daily. The MIS will display 31 days of data.
Note that all historical files on the FTP site should be downloaded no later than December 6, 2011, prior to the TML decommissioning.
Subscription:
All current recipients of the report will continue to receive the report without any manual intervention.
Programmatic Downloads:
To programmatically download these reports using External Web Services, please refer to the documentation posted on the ERCOT Website under Services/Market Data Transparency/XSDs for the EIP External Interfaces Specification<http://www.ercot.com/content/services/mdt/xsds/nodal/eip_external_interfaces_specification_v1_19.doc> and the External Web Services XSD. Refer to section 'GetReport'.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  For entities currently using a third party vendor to download reports from the FTP site, it is the responsibility of each Market Participant's User Security Administrator (USA) to assign digital certificates to any third party vendors. Please work with your USA for any digital certificate questions or issues.
