SHORT DESCRIPTION:  FRRS Pilot New Start Date

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED:  February 19, 2013

LONG DESCRIPTION:  The new start date for the Fast Responding Regulation Service (FRRS) Pilot is February 19, 2013.  This Pilot was previously scheduled to start on January 19, 2013 but was postponed until further notice due to restoration efforts of ERCOT systems.

To participate in the pilot, a resource must have a fully executed "Fast-Responding Regulation Pilot Project Supplement to Market Participant Agreement" found in Attachment "A" of the FRRS Governing document on file with ERCOT.  They must also submit the "Qualification Request Test Form for FRRS Pilot Project" document at least 14 business days prior to the first day of the qualification test.  These documents are located at http://www.ercot.com/mktrules/pilots/.  Only resources that have successfully passed the qualification test will be allowed to submit offers.
