SHORT DESCRIPTION:  FRRS Pilot Start Date delayed
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants
DAYS AFFECTED:  January 19, 2013
LONG DESCRIPTION:  Due to the continued restoration efforts of ERCOT systems, the planned Fast Responding Regulation Service (FRRS) Pilot start date of January 19, 2013 is postponed until further notice.  ERCOT is currently assessing a new start date and will communicate the new date as soon as possible.
To participate in the pilot, a resource must have a fully executed "Fast-Responding Regulation Pilot Project Supplement to Market Participant Agreement" found in Attachment "A" of the FRRS Governing document on file with ERCOT.  They must also submit the "Qualification Request Test Form for FRRS Pilot Project" document at least 14 business days prior to the first day of the qualification test.  These documents are located at http://www.ercot.com/mktrules/pilots/.  Only resources that have successfully passed the qualification test will be allowed to submit offers.
