SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Notification of Suspension of Operations for NRG Texas Power LLC, Greens Bayou, Unit 5
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:
LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT received a Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for the following Generation Resource:

  *   NRG Texas Power LLC - GBY_GBY_5
The NSO indicates that the Resource will be mothballed indefinitely beginning June 27, 2016.  The NSO is posted under the Notice of Suspension of Operations portlet on the Grid/Generation<https://mis.ercot.com/pps/tibco/mis/Pages/Grid+Information/Generation> page of the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area.  An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS.
ACTION REQUIRED:  Please send any comments you may have regarding this Notification to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>, with "NRG Texas Power LLC (RE), GBY_GBY_5 NSO Application" in the subject line.  Comments are due no later than April 12, 2016.  All comments will be posted to the Grid/Generation<https://mis.ercot.com/pps/tibco/mis/Pages/Grid+Information/Generation> page of the MIS Secure Area.
