SHORT DESCRIPTION:  RFP for 30-Minute ERS Pilot Contract Period February 1, 2013, through May 31, 2013
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs)
DAYS AFFECTED:  ERS Resource Identification information is due no later than December 21, 2012; Competitive Offers and Self-Provision Offers are due January 11, 2013
LONG DESCRIPTION:  On December 11, 2012, the ERCOT Board of Directors (Board) voted to extend the 30-Minute Emergency Response Service (ERS) Pilot for two additional Contract Periods - February 1, 2013, through May 31, 2013, and June 1, 2013, through September 30, 2013.
Based upon the Board's decision, ERCOT has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the 30-Minute Emergency Response Service (ERS) Pilot Contract Period of February 1, 2013, through May 31, 2013. Thirty-Minute ERS Resource Identification information is due to ERCOT no later than December 21, 2012. Competitive offers and Self-Provision offers are due January 11, 2013.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Awarded offers will be communicated to QSEs by 17:00 CPT on January 25, 2013. ERS Supporting Information on these awards will then be posted to the Market Information System (MIS), at https://mis.ercot.com/pps/tibco/mis/Pages/Services/Home, prior to the start of the Contract Period.
