SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Notification of Suspension of Operations for Luminant Generation Company LLC, Monticello Units 1 & 2

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  Comments due September 14, 2012

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has received Notification of Suspension of Operations for the following Generation Resource with a proposed effective date of December 1, 2012 for a period not less than six months and not greater than 7 months:

*       Luminant Generation Company LLC  - MNSES_UNIT1 and MNSES_UNIT2

The Notification of Suspension of Operations is posted on the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area on the Grid/Generation page under Reliability Must Run at https://mis.ercot.com/pps/tibco/mis/Pages/Grid+Information/Generation. An ERCOT digital certificate is required to access the MIS.

ACTION REQUIRED:  Please send any comments you may have regarding this Notification to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>, with "Luminant Generation Company NSO Application" in the subject line. Comments are due no later than September 14, 2012. Reliability Must Run Market Comments will be posted to the MIS at the URL stated above.
