SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Notification of Suspension of Operations for NRG Texas Power LLC, SR Bertron Units G1, G2 and GT2.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  Comments due October 17, 2012

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has received Notification of Suspension of Operations for the following Generation Resource with a proposed effective date of January 1, 2013:

*       NRG Texas Power LLC - SRB_SRB_G1
*       NRG Texas Power LLC - SRB_SRB_G2
*       NRG Texas Power LLC - SRB_SRB_G2

The Notification of Suspension of Operations is posted on the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area on the Grid/Generation page under Reliability Must Run at https://mis.ercot.com/pps/tibco/mis/Pages/Grid+Information/Generation. An ERCOT digital certificate is required to access the MIS.

ACTION REQUIRED:  Please send any comments you may have regarding this Notification to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>, with "NRG Power NSO Application" in the subject line. Comments are due no later than October 17, 2012. Reliability Must Run Market Comments will be posted to the MIS at the URL stated above.
