SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Notification of Suspension of Operations for City of Garland, Gibbons Creek Generating Station (GIBCRK_GIB_CRG1)

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  Comments due May 14, 2018

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT received a Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for the following Generation Resource:

*       City of Garland - GIBCRK_GIB_CRG1

The NSO indicates that the Resource will be mothballed for a period of not less than seven months and not greater than eight months.  The proposed effective date for the suspension of GIBCRK_GIB_CRG1 is October 1, 2018.

The NSO is posted under the Notice of Suspension of Operations portlet on the Grid/Generation<https://mis.ercot.com/pps/tibco/mis/Pages/Grid+Information/Generation> page of the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area.  An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS.

ACTION REQUIRED:  Please send any comments you may have regarding this Notification to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>, with "City of Garland, GIB_CRG1 NSO Application" in the subject line.  Comments are due no later than May 14, 2018.  All comments will be posted to the Grid/Generation<https://mis.ercot.com/pps/tibco/mis/Pages/Grid+Information/Generation> page of the MIS Secure Area.
