The ERCOT planned maintenance outage completed at approximately 7:40 PM today, Sunday, August 17, 2008.  All systems and transaction processing were reinstated at that time.

 

As always, connectivity issues such as NAESB or TML can be reported to the ERCOT Help Desk at 512-248-6800 or [log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]>  or tomorrow to your ERCOT Account Manager.

CLASSIFICATION:  Public

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has an off-cycle Retail Release scheduled for 8:00 AM Saturday, August 16, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, August 18, 2008.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All Market Participants        

DAY AFFECTED:  8:00 AM Saturday, August 16, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, August 18, 2008.

MarkeTrak will be unavailable beginning 7:00 PM Friday, August 15, 2008. Please do not submit or update issues after 5:00 PM Friday, August 15, 2008.

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has an off-cycle Retail Release scheduled from 8:00 AM Saturday August 16, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, August 18, 2008.  For reference, Market impacting SIRs, internal ERCOT SIRs with no Market impact and MarkeTrak Release 2 requirements are included in the attached documents.  ERCOT will also use the normal MarkeTrak maintenance window beginning 7:00 PM Friday, August 15, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, August 18, 2008. During this time, ERCOT will perform the PR70007_01 MarkeTrak Release 2 migration to production.  MarkeTrak Service Level Agreement timeframe is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM during retail business days.   The MarkeTrak Taskforce is recommending that all Market Participants submit all issues prior to 5:00 PM Friday, August 15, 2008. Please do not submit or update issues after 5:00 PM Friday, August 15, 2008.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  During the outage the following functions will be affected: 

*       Market Participants utilizing NAESB to send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT will NOT be able to send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT during the outage.  This includes all retail transactions. 

*       867 transactions will NOT be forwarded during the outage. 
*       997 functional acknowledgements will NOT be sent during the outage. 
*       Components of both the TML and commercial API will NOT be available including: 
o       Find ESI ID 
o       Find Transaction 
o       Submit Transactions 
o       USA Functionalities 
o       Report Explorer, including 
*       Reports 
*       Extracts 
*       Invoices 
*       Settlement Statements 
o       Extract Scheduler 
o       Web Services Data Requests 

			 

*       ERCOT internet services will NOT be available, including but not limited to: 
o       ERCOT.com - www.ercot.com <http://www.ercot.com/>  
o       MarkeTrak - https://marketrak.ercot.com:8443/tmtrack.dll <https://marketrak.ercot.com:8443/tmtrack.dll> ?
