SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Total Potential Exposure (TPE) Calculations Affected by EMS Issue
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Counter-Parties
DAY AFFECTED:  July 13, 2016

LONG DESCRIPTION:  The Energy Management System (EMS) issue that ERCOT experienced on July 7, 2016 impacted the ability to calculate Counter-Party Total Potential Exposure (TPE) and Available Credit Limit (ACLC/ACLD). In accordance with Protocol Section 16.11.4.6(c), the Real Time Liability Completed and Not Settled (RTLCNS) and Real Time Liability Forward (RTLF) components of the TPE and ACL calculations were not included in the credit calculation for Operating Day July 7, 2016.

The RTLCNS calculation input will be restored and included in the TPE and ACL credit calculations on July 13, 2016.  Additionally, the RTLF calculation input will be restored and included in the TPE and ACL credit calculations on July 15, 2016.
