SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Application of the Electric Reliability Council of
Texas for Approval of a Revised Nodal Market Implementation Surcharge,
P.U.C. Docket No. 35428.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  June 1, 2008

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On March 6, 2008, ERCOT filed an application seeking
approval from the Texas PUC for a revised surcharge to fund
implementation of the nodal market.  ERCOT seeks a revised surcharge in
the amount of $0.169 per megawatt-hour to be implemented by June 1,
2008.  The current surcharge is $0.127 per megawatt-hour.  The attached
procedural schedule for the PUC docket provides important deadlines for
interested parties.  The deadline for intervention in the PUC proceeding
is March 31, 2008.
