SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation details of RMGRR126

DAY AFFECTED:  July 24, 2016
LONG DESCRIPTION:  On July 24, 2016, ERCOT will implement Retail Market Guide Revision Request (RMGRR) 126, Additional ERCOT Validations for Customer Billing Contact Information File, which was approved by the ERCOT Board on April 14, 2015.
RMGRR126 requires ERCOT to validate that the Electric Service Identifiers (ESI IDs) provided in the Customer Billing Contact Information (CBCI) file are valid in the ERCOT registration system.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Pursuant to Retail Market Guide (RMG) Section 3.6, Retail Market Guide Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
