SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation Details of NPRR778 and RMGRR139

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  December 11, 2017

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On December 11, 2017, Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 778, Modifications to Date Change and Cancellation Evaluation Window, and Retail Market Guide Revision Request (RMGRR) 139, Alignment with NPRR778, Modifications to Date Change and Cancellation Evaluation Window, will be implemented.

NPRR778, Modifications to Date Change and Cancellation Evaluation Window, removes the one Retail Business Day evaluation window for date changes and cancellations to facilitate the replacement of manual processes with transactional solutions when possible.

RMGRR139, Alignment with NPRR778, Modifications to Date Change and Cancellation Evaluation Window, modifies market processes to align with changes proposed by NPRR778.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Pursuant to Nodal Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, and Retail Market Guide (RMG) Section 3.6, Retail Market Guide Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
