SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Reminder of WebEx sessions for CRR MUI upgrade
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRR Account Holders and Counter-Parties
DAY AFFECTED:  September 20 and 28, 2017
LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will be hosting two WebEx sessions to demonstrate the requalification process for Congestion Revenue Right (CRR) Account Holders and their Counter-Parties in association with the CRR Market User Interface (MUI) upgrade. The MUI will be upgraded on January 22, 2018, to be compatible with the latest web browsers and to remove Java applets and the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) requirement.
All registered CRR Account Holders and their Counter-Parties will be required to requalify to ensure that they can use the new MUI to perform auction activities. The requalification will be very similar to the current qualification test for new CRR Account Holders, and passing the requalification test will be required to participate in any CRR auctions taking place after the upgrade is implemented. The requalification period will end on December 8, 2017.
The requalification test will be performed in the Market Operations Test Environment (MOTE), which will require each CRR Account Holder and their Counter-Party to have an active MOTE digital certificate. Please confirm access to MOTE (https://testing.ercot.com/) before attempting to complete a requalification test. If needed, registered User Security Administrators (USAs) can request digital certificates via email to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
