The issues with TML Schedule/Unschedule an Extract and Find Transaction have been resolved. These services are fully functional.

As always, connectivity issues such as NAESB or TML can be reported to the ERCOT Help Desk at 512-248-6800 or [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> or tomorrow to your ERCOT Account Manager.

The ERCOT emergency outage completed at approximately  02:30 today, Tuesday, September 7, 2010.  All systems and transaction processing were reinstated at that time.

There are issues with TML Schedule/Unschedule an Extract and Find Transaction is only partially functioning at this time. ERCOT is actively working on resolving  issues with non/partially- functional Services  and another notification will be sent when these services become fully available.

NOTICE TYPE:  M-A090610-01 Emergency Outage:  Retail
SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will take an emergency outage of our Production Systems at 13:00 today, September 6, 2010 for twelve hours in order to resolve a hardware issue.
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:  September 6, 2010 from 13:00 to 01:00
DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will take an emergency outage of our Production Systems at 13:00 today, September 6, 2010 for twelve hours in order to resolve a hardware issue.
During the outage the following functions will be affected:
*       Market Participants utilizing NAESB to send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT will NOT be able to send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT during the outage. This includes all retail transactions.
*       867 transactions will NOT be forwarded during the outage.
*       997 Functional Acknowledgements will NOT be sent during the outage.
*       Components of the TML and Commercial API will NOT be available including:
o       Find ESI ID
o       Find Transaction
o       Submit Transactions
o       USA Functionalities
o       Report Explorer, including
*       Reports
*       Extracts
*       Invoices
*       Settlement Statements
o       Extract Scheduler
o       Web Services Data Requests
*       ERCOT Internet Services will NOT be available, including but not limited to:
o       ERCOT.com - www.ercot.com<http://www.ercot.com>
o       MarkeTrak - https://marketrak.ercot.com:8443/tmtrack.dll
o       TCR - https://tcr.ercot.com<https://tcr.ercot.com/>
o       Texas Renewables - www.texasrenewables.com<http://www.texasrenewables.com/>
MOS, Scheduling API, MOSTML, MOSPUBLIC, and Outage Scheduler will not be affected as there will be a DNS failover from Taylor to Austin.

ADDITONAL INFORMATION: ERCOT asked that all market participants hold all transactions until the emergency outage is complete.
