NOTICE TYPE:  M-A120312-07 Outage - Retail/Wholesale

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  UPDATE - Restoration of ERCOT systems

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED:  December 3, 2012, to current

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has restored the following systems:

*         Congestion Revenue Right (CRR) Auction Application

*         ERCOT.com - manual postings

*         Find ESIID

*         Find Transaction

*         MarkeTrak

*         MIS - Create Settlement Dispute

*         MIS - Net Dependable Capability and Reactive Capability (NDCRC) application

*         MIS - Retail application components

*         MIS - Service Request

*         Remedy - Help Desk ticket creation

*         Retail API

*         Retail Transaction processing

The following system is still affected:


*         Market Operations Test Environment (MOTE)

Statements and Invoices update:
Statements and Invoices are on schedule and currently being posted per Protocol timeline.
ERCOT batch processing is on schedule.
Extracts and Reports update:
The Day-Ahead and Real-Time Settlements Consolidated Operating Day Extracts (CODE) and Market Operating Day Extracts (MODE) that were expected to post on December 3, 2012, have not been posted due to the latency in statement and invoice posting. ERCOT is working to ensure that such extracts will be posted within the manner set forth in the ERCOT Market Information List (EMIL), and will provide notice if this deadline cannot be met.
ERCOT is compiling lists for out of compliance extract postings. The full list of missed Current Day Reports (CDRs) is attached. These reports/intervals do not have retry functionality; therefore, they will not be rerun/reposted to the Market Information System (MIS). The Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) list of reports and extracts is still under review. An update will be provided as soon as possible.
