NOTICE TYPE:  M-A112812-02 REMINDER: Release – Retail

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has an on-cycle retail release planned for 14:00 Saturday, December 8, 2012 through 00:00 Monday, December 10, 2012.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: 14:00 Saturday, December 8, 2012 through 00:00 Monday, December 10, 2012

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has an on-cycle retail release planned for 14:00 Saturday, December 8, 2012 through 00:00 Monday, December 10, 2012.

ERCOT will be implementing an upgrade to the database systems supporting EDI, EIF, and FTP.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: During this outage, the following functions will be affected:

  *   Market participants utilizing NAESB to send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT will NOT be able to send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT.
  *   867 Transactions will NOT be forwarded during the outage.
  *   997 Functional Acknowledgements will NOT be sent during the outage.
  *   Retail components of the MIS and the Retail API will not be available.
  *   MarkeTrak will be unavailable.
  *   eService application will be unavailable on the Market Information System (MIS).
  *   MPIM will be unavailable.
