The ERCOT outage completed at approximately 6:15 PM today, Sunday, December 14, 2008.  All systems and transaction processing were reinstated at that time.

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has an on-cycle Retail Release planned for 12:00 PM Saturday, December 13, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, December 15, 2008.
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All Market Participants        
DAY AFFECTED:  12:00 PM Saturday, December 13, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, December 15, 2008. 
LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has an on-cycle Retail Release scheduled from 12:00 PM Saturday, December 13, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, December 15, 2008.  For reference, three Market impacting projects, one Market impacting SIR, and three SIRs with no Market impact are included in the attachment.
ERCOT will also use the normal MarkeTrak maintenance window beginning 7:00 PM Friday, December 12, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, December 15, 2008 to implement PR-70007_01 - MarkeTrak Enhancements, Release 3.  MarkeTrak service availability is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM during retail business days.
ERCOT will implement PR-80028_01:  Revision requests PRR 756 and LPGRR 30.  These revision requests are necessary to comply with HB 3693.  For additional information on PR -80028_01 see the attached PR-80028-01 for Small Renewables Distributed Generation document.
ERCOT will implement NP-63C01_01 to enhance the Customer Registration Database to the Settlements and Billing Database data exchange for Market Participant data.
ACTION REQUIRED:  Market Participants who utilize MarkeTrak API will need to update their .wsdl and .xsd files for use after this Retail Release.  The updated versions are attached.  
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  During the outage the following functions will be affected:
*        Market Participants utilizing NAESB to send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT will NOT be able to send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT during the outage.  This includes all retail transactions. 
*        867 transactions will NOT be forwarded during the outage. 
*        997 Functional Acknowledgements will NOT be sent during the outage. 
*        Components of the TML and Commercial API will NOT be available including: 
*        Find ESI ID 
*        Find Transaction 
*        Submit Transactions 
*        USA Functionalities 
*        Report Explorer, including 
*        Reports 
*        Extracts 
*        Invoices 
*        Settlement Statements 
*        Extract Scheduler 
*        Web Services Data Requests 
*        ERCOT Internet Services will NOT be available, including but not limited to: 
*        ERCOT.com - www.ercot.com <http://www.ercot.com/>  
*        MarkeTrak - https://marketrak.ercot.com:8443/tmtrack.dll <https://marketrak.ercot.com:8443/tmtrack.dll> ? 
*        TCR - https://tcr.ercot.com <https://tcr.ercot.com/>

MOS, Scheduling API, MOSTML, MOSPUBLIC, and Outage Scheduler will not be affected as there will be a DNS failover from Taylor to Austin.
