RTCTF Members,

Thank you for 33 meetings since April 2019 to conclude the development of the Revision Requests needed to implement Real-Time Co-optimization. At today's meeting we achieved consensus on all Revision Request items (specified below), which concludes our review process. The Revision Requests will be finalized and posted with urgency in the coming days for approvals and at the forthcoming stakeholder meetings in accordance with Section 21 of protocols through ROS, PRS, CWG, TAC, and the ERCOT Board.

We have completed the scope of our charter and are cancelling the RTCTF meeting on Nov 12, 2020.

I will report our status to TAC next week (October 28), but they will not vote on Revision Requests until their November 18 TAC meeting. At next week's TAC meeting I will also provide an update on today's discussion of next steps in Agenda 5 as it relates to ongoing development that will be needed outside of protocols for policy, analysis, supporting documentation, and MP implementation needs for a successful 2024 implementation.

Thanks again for the finished products and the remaining consensus items below!
Matt

Subject: RTCTF 10/21 Meeting Agenda and Materials

RTCTF members,

The agenda and Revision Request language for next week's RTCTF have been posted here<http://www.ercot.com/calendar/2020/10/21/191178-RTCTF>. For convenience the agenda is captured below, and a reminder to submit any redlines to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> and [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.

This meeting has a new Agenda item #5, "Initial Thoughts on List of Next Steps with Stakeholders Beyond 2020". As the RTCTF Chair I wanted to remind the group that our Charter was to develop RTC Principles in Phase 1, and RTC Protocols in Phase 2. As we have navigated through this principle and protocol development work, there has been feedback that we captured along the way to memorialize and provide to TAC for the next phase of work in 2021. So please review the items ERCOT captured and be prepared to discuss the details of those, but as Chair I do not want to open this item up to a broad discussion of all implementation and readiness details (as that is another set of meetings with a different purpose). So please review what has been posted with Agenda 5, and consider if we dropped the ball on any important issues to take back to TAC regarding next steps after protocols.

Thanks and we will talk to you next week!
Matt Mereness
