NOTICE TYPE:  CNP-M-A022021 - Initial
DAYS AFFECTED:  Tuesday, February 16, 2021 - Thursday, February 18, 2021
SHORT DESCRIPTION: CNP has begun the process of retrieving additional interval usage data from our AMS meters for the period of the rolling outage event.  That data will be delivered to the market beginning Saturday, February 20, and will continue into next week.  Our goal is to deliver as much actual data as possible for use in the initial settlement of usage days 2/16 - 2/18.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All Market Participants
LONG DESCRIPTION: During the rolling outage event, CNP continued to attempt to interrogate meters to retrieve usage information.  For any meters that were not communicating at the times of interrogation, interval usage was estimated by our Meter Data Management system.  In general, if our outage system indicated that power was out to a premise, the intervals were estimated as zero.  If there was no outage indicated, the intervals were estimated based on the historical usage.

CNP has interrogated all of the meters to retrieve actual data for Tuesday 2/16, and our goal is to deliver the data to ERCOT on Saturday 2/20 in time for initial settlement.

Our goal is for additional days to be retrieved and delivered on the following schedule:


  *   Data for Wednesday 2/17 delivered on Sunday 2/21 for initial settlement
  *   Data for Thursday 2/18 delivered on Monday 2/22 for initial settlement



  *   Data for Monday 2/15, for which initial settlement was Friday 2/19, will be delivered after the data for 2/16 - 2/18 has been delivered.
