SHORT DESCRIPTION:  The ERCOT unplanned outage of the NAESB and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) applications has ended.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  March 20, 2008 from 3:55 PM to 5:40 PM

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT experienced an unplanned outage of the NAESB and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) applications yesterday, Thursday, March 20, 2008 from 3:55 PM to 5:40 PM.  During this outage, ERCOT was not processing inbound Retail transactions. 

All backlogged transactions have processed.

 

This outage was the result of errors with the EDI application.  Additional information will be provided in the ERCOT IT Incident Market Notice Summary.
