SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT is currently experiencing an unplanned outage
affecting both Wholesale and Retail processing systems.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All Market Participants        

DAY AFFECTED:  March 20, 2008 

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT is currently experiencing an unplanned outage
of the Wholesale and Retail processing systems which impact the
following processes and applications:

*	Retail Transaction processing - ERCOT is not processing Inbound
or Outbound transactions
*	Texas Market Link (TML) including Web Services and Report
Explorer
*	Retail API
*	Wholesale API (PiApp)
*	MarkeTrak (GUI and API)
*	Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
*	Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)
*	Customer Registration Database

Due to the delays with the source systems, it is likely that there will
be a delay in extracts, reports, settlement statements, and invoices.
