DAY AFFECTED:  Wednesday, March 19, 2008 from 9:35 AM to 12:02 PM       

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced an unplanned outage of the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) application today, Wednesday, March 19, 2008, from 9:35 AM to 12:02 PM. 

ERCOT has determined that this was the result of SAN hardware failure.  Additional information will be provided in the ERCOT IT Incident Market Notice Summary.

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT is currently experiencing an outage of the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) application.  ERCOT is receiving inbound transactions however they are being held and not processed at this time.  ERCOT outbound processing is limited to 997 response transactions only.
