SHORT DESCRIPTION:  The service outage of MarkeTrak API and Texas Market Link (TML) was caused by the Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) application going offline. 

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs

DAY AFFECTED:   March 19, 2008 from 1:15 PM to 2:29 PM.

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Due to the Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) application going offline, ERCOT experienced a MarkeTrak API and TML application outage on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 from 1:15 PM to 2:30 PM.  This will be the final notice for this issue.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs

DAY AFFECTED:   March 19, 2008 from 1:15 PM to 2:29 PM.

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Wednesday, March 19, 2008 from 1:15 PM to 2:30 PM ERCOT’s MarkeTrak API and the TML application experienced an outage due to the Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) application going offline.  The following functionalities were impacted:

  • TML Transaction Services (Customer Switching via TML and Query ESIID Transaction)
  • MarkeTrak bulk submit process
  • MarkeTrak Registration System related components

ERCOT is researching the issue and will provide additional information as it becomes available.
