SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT recently changed bank account information for certain wire transfers used for paying WAN invoices and application fees..

DAY AFFECTED:  April 21, 2008

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Earlier this week, ERCOT sent a Market Notice informing Market Participants that it had changed one of its bank accounts – i.e. the bank account that had previously been used for paying WAN invoices and submitting application fees. The recent change in bank information affects only wire transfers for WAN invoices and application fees. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Please note that the bank account information for paying Settlement Invoices has not changed; therefore, you should submit payments for Settlement Invoices the same way you have always submitted them.

LONG DESCRIPTION: For administrative reasons, ERCOT has changed one of its bank accounts that had previously been used for paying WAN invoices and submitting application fees. ERCOT has established a new account for making those payments. If you would like to obtain wiring instructions for the new account, please contact your Account Manager. If you submit your funds by check, the process will not change.
