SHORT DESCRIPTION: Preparations are underway for a Retail Market Participant Workshop: MarkeTrak Workshop, including MarkeTrak Enhancements implemented in Release 1 – May 16, 2008.
INTENDED AUDIENCE: The MarkeTrak workshop is intended for current Market Participants whose day-to-day responsibilities include the use of MarkeTrak. Attendees need to have a basic knowledge of MarkeTrak and have been issued a digital certificate.
LONG DESCRIPTION: Preparations are underway for a Retail Market Participant Workshop which will provide a detailed demonstration of MarkeTrak and cover those changes that will be implemented under Project 70007_01 – MarkeTrak Enhancements, Release 1.
In this workshop, the Retail Client Services team will cover the following topics which will include the MarkeTrak Enhancements, Release 1 changes:
o Overview
o Day-to-Day Issues
o Data Extract Variance (DEV) Issues
o Linking issues, Notifications and Item locks
o Bulk Insert
o Mass Update/Transition
o Reporting
o Administrative Roles
Following are the MarkeTrak Enhancements, Release 1 changes:
· Requirement 1 – Market: Make the order of all buttons consistent on all sub-types
· Requirement 2 – Market: Create a parent project type for DEV issues
· Requirement 3 – Market: Make all transitions consistent within MarkeTrak
· Requirement 6 – Market: Modify search arrow next to ID Search
· Requirement 14 – Market: Add columns to escalation email attachment
· Requirement 19 – ERCOT: Populate ERCOT Owner & Siebel/Sub-status on ERCOT Initiated issues
· Requirement 21 – ERCOT: Siebel Status/Sub-status auto update upon completion
· Requirement 23 – ERCOT: Add ability to turn on/off automation for IAG and DEV issues
· Requirement 41 – ERCOT: Correct logic used in the Starttime fields on DEV LSE issues
· Requirement 42 – ERCOT: Correct logic used in the Stoptime fields on DEV LSE issues

Training room capacity for this seminar is 50 people. Registrations will be taken on a first come, first serve basis so please keep this in mind when registering. Due to limited space and materials, we cannot guarantee access to the sessions without prior registration.
Confirmation is subject to ERCOT receiving the required registration through ERCOT’s Learning Management System (LMS). If registration is not received, attendees may not be assured of participation in this training. If sufficient interest is shown, additional seminars may be scheduled.
Note: ERCOT reserves the right to reschedule the class for a future date if there is not sufficient interest in the course offering.

A document detailing the MarkeTrak Enhancements, Release 1 changes will be provided two weeks prior to this workshop.
Training material will be provided at the workshops. Presentations used in the workshops will be posted to www.ercot.com after the workshop has occurred.
