LONG
DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has released the results of its
procurement of EILS for the Contract Period of June 1 through September 30,
2008. Public Utility Commission
(PUC) Substantive Rule 25.507 (f) requires ERCOT to “report publicly the number
of MW procured per time period, the number of resources providing the service,
and the projected total cost of the service for that contract period” within 10
days of the awards for an EILS Contract Period. On Friday, May 16, 2008 ERCOT notified
QSEs of their awards. Contracts are
being delivered on Monday, May 19, 2008 to QSEs whose offers were selected. The contracts are due back at ERCOT by
May 29, 2008.

For the 2008 EILS program year (February through January), the total

(3).
