SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has a scheduled Retail release beginning 12:00 PM Saturday, June 14, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, June 16, 2008.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All Market Participants 
 
      

DAY AFFECTED:  12:00 PM Saturday, June 14, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, June 16, 2008

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has an on-cycle Retail release scheduled from 12:00 PM Saturday, June 14, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, June 16, 2008.  For reference, SIRS having a Market impact and internal ERCOT SIRs with no Market impact are included on the attached document.   

Please note that ERCOT has removed project PR-60008_01 (Terms and Conditions / Performance Measures) and SIR 11820 from this scheduled release.   Production release for these components has been rescheduled as a phased implementation:

         Phase 1:  Performance Measures reporting – June 22, 2008 Maintenance Release.  Please see Market Notice M-A061208-01.

         Phase 2:  Transaction timing and prioritization and SIR 11820 – July 12, 2008 On-Cycle Release.  Please see Market Notice M-B061208-01.


ACTION REQUIRED:
  Market Participants who utilize the MarkeTrak API will need to update their .wsdl and .xsd files for use after this Retail release.  The updated versions of both files are attached.     


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  During the outage, the following functions will be affected:

  • Market Participants utilizing NAESB to send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT will NOT be able to send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT during the outage.  This includes all retail transactions.
  • 867 Transactions will NOT be forwarded during the outage.
  • 997 functional acknowledgements will NOT be sent during the outage.
  • Components of both the TML and commercial API will NOT be available including:
    • Find ESI ID
    • Find Transaction
    • Submit Transactions
    • USA Functionalities
    • Report Explorer, including
      • Reports
      • Extracts
      • Invoices
      • Settlement Statements
    • Extract Scheduler
    • Web Services Data Requests

 

  • ERCOT internet services will NOT be available, including but not limited to:

MOS, Scheduling API, MOSTML, MOSPUBLIC, and Outage Scheduler will not be affected as there will be a DNS failover from Taylor to Austin.
