SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced an unplanned outage of the Customer Registration Database (CRD) from 7:47 PM Sunday, June 1, 2008 until 7:15 AM Monday, June 2, 2008.

LONG DESCRIPTION:  As a result of this unplanned Customer Registration Database (CRD) outage, Batch transactions were delayed. Batch transactions include 814_06, 814_08, and 814_22 transactions.

Further investigation by ERCOT has not identified any additional transaction impacts resulting from this outage.

CLASSIFICATION:  Public

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced an unplanned outage from 7:47 PM Sunday, June 1, 2008 until 7:15 AM Monday, June 2, 2008.

DAY AFFECTED:  7:47 PM Sunday, June 1, 2008 until 7:15 AM Monday, June 2, 2008

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced an unplanned outage of the Customer Registration Database (CRD) from 7:47 PM Sunday, June 1, 2008 (the end of the maintenance outage) until 7:15 AM Monday, June 2, 2008.  This outage is the result of human error.  

The components of the CRD did not start correctly after the planned maintenance outage.   Retail transactions were not processed appropriately and Retail Batch processing was delayed.  As a result, outbound transactions will not meet Protocol requirements.   

ERCOT is investigating additional impacts resulting from this outage.  Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
