SHORT DESCRIPTION:   Update on outbound 997 processing

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs

DAY AFFECTED:  Wednesday, July 16, 2008 from 4:30 PM to July 17, 2008 3:00 PM

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced an issue with the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Server that was prohibiting all 997s from being sent outbound to Market Participants. 

 

ERCOT has resolved the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Server issue.  Outbound 997s began processing again at 3:00 PM.  The backlog of 50,000 997s are in the process of being sent out and it is expected that processing will be current by 11:00 PM tonight.

SHORT DESCRIPTION:   ERCOT is experiencing an issue with outbound 997s being sent to all Market Participants.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs

DAY AFFECTED:  Wednesday, July 16, 2008 from 4:30 PM to Present

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT is experiencing an issue with the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Server that is prohibiting all 997s from being sent outbound to all Market Participants.  ERCOT has captured these 997 transactions and they will be forwarded to the market once the issue is resolved.   

 

ERCOT will provide additional information as it becomes available.
