SHORT DESCRIPTION:   ERCOT is in the process of verifying that each MarkeTrak user currently accessing the application has the appropriate corresponding MarkeTrak Role assigned in their Digital Certificate.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Market Participant User Security Administrators (USAs), Backup USAs, and MarkeTrak Administrators

DAYS AFFECTED:  August 1, 2008

LONG DESCRIPTION:   ERCOT has discovered that a number of users are utilizing the MarkeTrak application without the MarkeTrak role assigned within their Digital Certificate.  In order to synchronize our user records ERCOT will be disseminating a list of these users to each MarkeTrak MP Administrator for updates.  Effective August 1, 2008 those users without a MarkeTrak Role in their Digital Certificate will be disabled in the MarkeTrak application. 

ACTION REQUIRED:   Market Participant USAs and Backup USAs should verify that users requiring access to MarkeTrak have the MarkeTrak role assigned to their Digital Certificates.   

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  ERCOT Retail Account Managers will be contacting impacted Market Participant USAs, Backup USAs, and MarkeTrak Administrators.
