SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Beginning August 1, 2008, ERCOT will no longer send a service establishment notice to Customers for Move-In Requests.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs

DAY AFFECTED:  August 1, 2008

LONG DESCRIPTION:  The ERCOT Board of Directors approved PRR759 on July 15, 2008 which eliminated Section 15.1.4.3 (Notification to Customer of Service Establishment) of the protocols.    Effective August 1, 2008, ERCOT will no longer send a service establishment notice to the Customer for Move-In Requests submitted by the current CR of Record for the ESI ID. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  ERCOT will continue to send a switch confirmation notice to the Customer as specified in PUCT rules for those customers Switching Retail Electric Providers.
