SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has an off-cycle Retail Release planned for 8:00 AM Saturday, August 16, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, August 18, 2008.
INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED: 8:00 AM Saturday, August 16, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, August 18, 2008. MarkeTrak will be unavailable beginning 7:00 PM Friday, August 15, 2008.
LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has an off-cycle Retail Release scheduled from 8:00 AM Saturday August 16, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, August 18, 2008. For reference, Market impacting SIRs, internal ERCOT SIRs with no Market impact, and MarkeTrak Release 2 requirements are included on the attached documents.
ERCOT will also use the normal MarkeTrak maintenance window beginning 7:00 PM Friday, August 15, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, August 18, 2008. During this time, ERCOT will perform the PR70007_01 MarkeTrak Release 2 migration to production. MarkeTrak service availability is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM during retail business days.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: During the outage the following functions will be affected:
· Market Participants utilizing NAESB to send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT will NOT be able to send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT during the outage. This includes all retail transactions.
· 867 transactions will NOT be forwarded during the outage.
· 997 functional acknowledgements will NOT be sent during the outage.
· Components of both the TML and commercial API will NOT be available including:
o Find ESI ID
o Find Transaction
o Submit Transactions
o USA Functionalities
o Report Explorer, including
§ Reports
§ Extracts
§ Invoices
§ Settlement Statements
o Extract Scheduler
o Web Services Data Requests
· ERCOT internet services will NOT be available, including but not limited to:
o ERCOT.com – www.ercot.com
o MarkeTrak - https://marketrak.ercot.com:8443/tmtrack.dll?
o TCR - https://tcr.ercot.com
o Texas Renewables – www.texasrenewables.com
MOS, Scheduling API, MOSTML, MOSPUBLIC, and Outage Scheduler will not be affected as there will be a DNS failover from Taylor to Austin.
