SHORT DESCRIPTION:  MOSTML and Outage Scheduler test environment access

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED:  August 28, 2008

LONG DESCRIPTION:  To address performance issues with ERCOT MOSTML and Outage Scheduler, ERCOT initiated measures to upgrade listener applications.  ERCOT will implement corrective measures in two phases beginning on September 2, 2008.

In preparation for the second phase, ERCOT will make the new MOSTML and MOS Listener available in the Market Operations Test Environment (MOTE)  Thursday, August 28, 2008, beginning 8:00 AM CPT.  Access information for the MOTE is as follows:

URL and IP for MOTE Listener:

IP Address for MPs using Internet to connect Listener (MOTE): 66.128.17.140

IP Address for MPs using WAN to connect Listener (MOTE):  192.168.172.131

Note: A test digital certificate is required in order to access the MOTE.

QSEs are welcomed to test market submittals during this period though it is not required.  ERCOT will provide instructions in the next market notice for Market Participants using API connection to ERCOT MOSTML to setup new IP addresses (WAN and Internet) in advance of second phase migration.
