SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT experienced an issue
with processing which created reject transactions sent to Market Participants.
INTENDED AUDIENCE: CRs and TDSPs
DAY AFFECTED: August 10 and 11, 2008
LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT experienced an issue with
processing which created duplicate inbound transactions, resulting in reject
transactions sent to CRs. Please see below for the count by inbound Transaction

CRs may have received 814_02 rejects
for duplicate 814_01s; 814_17 rejects for duplicate 814_16s; and 814_25 rejects
for duplicate 814_24s as a result of this issue. The switches, move-ins, and
move-outs have successfully processed.
ERCOT has determined the root cause
was a connectivity issue due to an incorrect IP assignment.
Transaction information will be
provided to affected Market Participants by Retail Client Services.
