The Generation 301 course covers topics related to data on Generation and Load Resources that must be provided to ERCOT by Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) and Resource Entities (REs).  The course is presents three groups of key data on Resources submitted to ERCOT:

·        Resource Parameters – What are they? How are they submitted? How are they used in operations?

·        Operational Data Requirements

·        Verifiable costs

For each of the above, Generation 301 presents a discussion of the nature of the data, how data is submitted, processed and approved as well as how each is used in ERCOT Operations and Settlement.
