NOTICE TYPE: R-B082208-01 Testing – Retail: Announcement – PR 70007_01 - MarkeTrak Enhancements: Release 3 Market Testing

SHORT DESCRIPTION: The MarkeTrak Enhancements GUI (Graphical User Interface) and API (Application Program Interface) Market testing for Release 3 is scheduled to begin on December 1, 2008.

The deadline to register for participating in the MarkeTrak Enhancements GUI and API Release 3 Market test is Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 5:00 PM CPT. 

INTENDED AUDIENCE: MarkeTrak GUI and API Users

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT and the Texas Test Plan Team (TTPT) would like to announce that preparations are underway for the MarkeTrak Enhancements GUI and API Market testing for Release 3.  Testing is scheduled to begin on December 1, 2008 and end on December 11, 2008.   

Testing is required for MarkeTrak API users. MarkeTrak GUI User Testing will be on a volunteer basis.

The deadline to register for participating in the MarkeTrak Enhancements GUI and API Release 3 Market test is Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 5:00 PM CPT.

The API Connectivity is to begin on September 29, 2008.  The MarkeTrak Sandbox environment is scheduled to be available on September 22, 2008.

Test digital certificates will be provided to those Market Participants that did not participate in MarkeTrak testing during Flight 0608.   

ACTION REQUIRED:

• GUI -To volunteer for the MarkeTrak Enhancements GUI Release 3 Market test, you must notify ERCOT of intent to test via email at [log in to unmask]. Notification must include company legal name, DUNS and the following contact information.
