for Duns & Bradstreet (DUNS) Numbers

LONG DESCRIPTION: In support
of ERCOT’s Nodal transition, several changes are being made to the ERCOT
registration system. One of these changes is the standardization of
numbers used to set up new Market Participants in ERCOT’s registration
system.
Standardized four-digit extensions are being added to the root DUNS Number of
all newly registered Market Participants so that the registration type can be
more easily identified and to allow for the unique identification of multiple registration
types by a Market Participant. The standard nine-digit DUNS Number will
continue to be used as the identification of the Registered Market Participant for
credit purposes.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Existing Market
Participants that are already registered with ERCOT will not be impacted by
this change. These Market Participants will retain their existing ERCOT DUNS
Number.
