SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has postponed the On-cycle Retail Release that was originally planned for 12:00 PM Saturday, September 13, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, September 15, 2008.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  12:00 PM Saturday, September 13, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, September 15, 2008.

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Due to potential impacts resulting from Hurricane Ike, ERCOT has postponed the on-cycle Retail Release that was originally scheduled for 12:00 PM Saturday September 13, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, September 15, 2008.   

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: At this time, ERCOT has tentatively rescheduled this Release for the October 11, 2008 weekend.
